I am one of the waitresses, who worked lasyflash's grandfather's 90th B'day party and I would like to comment. First off thank you for saying the waitstaff was nice. Second I believe things just got out of hand that day. To start the other waitress I was working with that day, had delivered a pitcher to one of the tables, to someone of age. She noticed a young man drinking and asked him for his ID, he didn't have one so she told him he could not drink. The people around the table told her he was 21 but without ID we couldn't serve him. She asked him for the glass in front of him, which had beer in it, and he ignored her. She asked again and the same results. Not sure what to do she came to me and asked me to try and get the glass because he was without ID, and she didn't know how to handle it. Before I could get to the room our boss asked us what the problem was. We proceeded to tell him what happened and he went to the room to confront the situation. I"m not sure exactly what happened, but he did get the young mans glass. If words were exchanged I wasn't aware of it, but if the young man had given his glass to my fellow waitress when she asked, nothing would of happened. Unfortunatly sometimes when people have a private room they think they can drink because we as waitstaff are not always in the room. Even though they do have a private room, the law still requires us to ID anyone we think is too young to drink. I am sorry this young persons visit with us was not a good one, but by the time the party was over, it seemed to me that everyone was happy.

Please do not support Juliano's. Our family was treated terribly by one of the owners when we rented a room for my grandfather's 90th birthday party. One member of our party was asked not to drink any beer as he did not have his i.d. on him and looks young. The beer was left in front of him, but he was not drinking it. Five minutes later one of the owners came in fuming with anger and berating my cousin. He accused him of continuing to drink after being told twice (it was actually only once and he wasn't even still drinking it) and proceeded to threaten to cut off the entire party! I have worked in both restaurant and retail environments. I have never seen an owner/manager behave in such a fashion to customers. It was very unprofessional and he was exceptionally nasty. When I called him out on his behavior, he then directed his anger toward me. The whole situation was uncalled for and completely out of hand. I must give credit to the servers. These women were friendly and courteous. I'm sure if this man treats customers this way that his employees are treated the same. The girl I spoke with looked like she wasn't surprised when I told her what happened. He also mentioned that he had fired a girl for no reason that day. Please do not support this business!
